The decorative film used in HPL is available in many patterns and designs ranging from wood grain to solid colors and from chrome and decorative patterns. Our Exterior HPL, named, Samrat Cladage with its unique qualities of non fading in all weather conditions can be used for exterior surfaces also. In the current scenario, it is the choice of most of the Architects and designers for a variety of countertops, kitchen applications, furniture, wall paneling and cabinetry needs.

It is often being compared with ACP, which is an aluminum composite panel line. The panel is a composite consisting of two layers of aluminum sheet sandwiching a polyethylene core produced from a continuous extrusion process.
The design range of ACP is too short as compared to HPL. Samrat offers a wide variety of wood grains, Stone finishes, dual color finishes and list is increasing every six months when we add on to the existing designs as per the customer needs across the world. HPL can be produced one side as well as double side unlike ACP. This enables multiple application options for HPL. ACP is prone to scratches and not very easy to maintain whereas special scratch resistant HPL can be applied to surfaces for better maintenance. ACP, being metallic tends to lose shine whereas, HPL has optimal light fastness.
